Recent casting calls have unveiled seven fresh faces set to grace the screen in the upcoming second season of the live-action adaptation of One Piece. While these additions may not come as a shock to devoted fans, they complement the previously announced newcomers, Tony Tony Chopper and Smoker.
The production team has been actively casting throughout the first half of the year in preparation for season 2, slated to commence filming this summer under the working title Project Renaissance. Filming is scheduled to kick off in June, signaling the beginning of this exciting new chapter.
Although these new characters are expected additions to the One Piece universe, it’s reassuring to know that none will be omitted from the narrative. Except for Crocus, who will have a more intermittent presence, all are set to make recurring appearances throughout the second season.
