Judging by the gigantic M-shaped seagull, this fan animation appears to take place at what seems to be “New Marineford”, formerly known as the G-1 base.
It showcases an older Luffy, appearing to be in his late twenties, reminiscent of Shanks’ appearance at the beginning of the story. The screen then switches to an aged-up Koby, both characters smiling. They then shake hands.
Helmeppo’s eyes welled up with tears as he reminisced about Garp, expressing how proud the legendary figure would have been of both Luffy and Koby. This poignant moment strongly suggests that Garp has since passed away.
Luffy and Koby smile at each other before cutting to the To Be Continued screen.
